What should I expect at my first visit?
The goal of your first appointment is to determine the cause of your problem.
Dr. Chadell will review your past and current health history to fully understand the impact physical, chemical, and emotional stressors have made on your health. Afterward, a thorough examination will be performed to determine any abnormal postural, alignment and/or movement patterns that may be impacting your health.
How long until I feel better?
Some patients experience almost instant relief. Others discover it can take several weeks or months. Many factors can affect the healing process, including:
• The severity of the structural misalignments causing your problem.
• How long you have had them.
• How rapidly your body responds to chiropractic care, influenced by age, mental
attitude, elasticity of the muscles and ligaments
• Your ability to avoid additional stress and strain while your body is healing.
Will I have to keep coming forever?
Not at all.
Some people prefer to be treated only for a specific problem, and when the symptoms disappear they stop making appointments.
Others use chiropractic care to fully correct the underlying cause of the symptoms and to remain feeling really well.
The constant stress and wear of life, however, may make maintenance visits to a chiropractor a good addition to a healthy lifestyle.
Do I need a referral to see a Chiropractor?
Chiropractors are primary health care providers, meaning you do not need a referral to book an appointment.
If Chiropractic is not the most suitable solution for your health concern, Dr. Chadell will refer you immediately to the appropriate health care provider.
What types of problems can a chiropractor help me with?
Chiropractors treat a wide array of conditions and injuries affecting the muscles, joints and nerves of the body. Conditions commonly treated by Chiropractors include:
• Back pain
• Neck pain
• Repetitive strain injuries
• Nerve entrapment syndromes
• ITB Syndrome
• Shin splints
• Plantar fasciitis
I don't have any symptoms. Can I still see you?
Believe it or not, most of our patients come to see us without any pain or symptoms.
They understand that physical pain may not manifest itself in the body until long after the initial problem has truly taken root in the body, and that it's easier to try to avoid a problem than try to fix it once you have it.
How much will my care cost?
Your Initial Consultation, Examination, and Review of Results is $107.
Subsequent checkup and adjustments are $50.
If you are lucky enough to have coverage towards chiropractic care, a receipt can be provided for you to submit to your insurence.
